Bob Temes has dedicated his life to service, leadership, and community. Enlisting in the United States Marine Corps on his 18th birthday in 1987, he served as a Military Police Officer at Camp Pendleton and deployed during Desert Storm, where he distinguished himself as part of the Provost Marshal’s Office, K9 Unit, and Special Reaction Team. Following active duty, he continued his service in the Marine Corps Reserve until 1996.
After his military career, Bob built a path as an entrepreneur and community leader. He owns and operates Snack Attack! Gourmet Popcorn Company, a successful food truck and pop-up business serving Northern Illinois. His commitment to veterans led him to join the Marine Corps League in 2023, where he actively participates in parades, fundraisers, and outreach events as a proud representative of the McHenry County Detachment.
Bob lives in Marengo, Illinois, with his wife Marie and their two German Shepherds, Radar and Meesha. A devoted husband, father, and stepfather, he continues to embody the Marine Corps League motto: Once a Marine, Always a Marine.
