Each November, Marines gather around the globe to commemorate the birth of the United States Marine Corps. They gather to celebrate and reflect upon the storied history of the Corps and share in the eternal spirit as worthy successors to the long line of distinguished men and women who have served as “Soldiers of the Sea” since the founding of the Corps in 1775.

Marines share this heritage with family and friends to reflect on those who came before us, those serving today, and men and women who will become the future of the Marine Corps Come join the McHenry County Marine Corps League in this unique and memorable occasion. Celebrate the history of those proud few who have earned the title Marine.

We are excited to celebrate the 250th Marine Corps Birthday with you on Saturday, November 8th at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn Convention Center.

Ticket Price is $85.00 per person which includes Dinner (choice of Steak, Chicken, Fish or Vegetarian); chefs choice of starch and vegetable with Fresh Green Salad, warm rolls and butter; Open Bar for Social Hour and Dinner; Birthday Cake for dessert; and a Marine 250 Memento.

1800 Ceremony

Commandant’s birthday video, Chaplain’s prayer, presentation of the colors, traditional reading of General Lejeune’s message and cake cutting ceremony. Comments by the McHenry County Marine Corps League Commandant and speech by the guest of honor.

Bar will be closed during the ceremony..

1845 Dinner Service

Dinner service will begin. Open bar for Domestic Beer, Wine and Soda

Cash bar for mixed drinks.

2000 to 2300 Ball and Social Gala
