Our Mission
McHenry County Detachment #1009 – Marine Corps League
The McHenry County Detachment of the Marine Corps League is where Marines, FMF Navy Corpsmen, and Chaplains unite to continue the mission long after active service ends. We honor the proud legacy of the Corps by turning commitment into action—supporting veterans and their families, honoring our fallen, mentoring the next generation, and strengthening the communities we call home.
Our mission is clear: no Marine left behind, no veteran forgotten. Through outreach programs, community partnerships, and events that bring veterans and citizens together, we ensure that service and sacrifice are recognized and supported. Every donation, every volunteer hour, and every handshake fuels that mission.
When you support the McHenry County Detachment, you’re not just giving—you’re standing beside those who have worn the uniform and those still serving our nation’s ideals. Together, we build a stronger community and keep the Marine Corps spirit alive: Once a Marine, Always a Marine.
