Jason Hertha is a two-time Combat Action veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps from 2004 to 2008 as an 0311 Infantry Rifleman. He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 3rd Marines in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, and deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. He achieved the rank of Corporal (E-4) before completing his service.
Following his time in the Marine Corps, Jason served as a Police Officer for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. He later earned an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts from Kendall College in Chicago, worked as a personal trainer, and went on to establish his own BBQ food truck business where he is widely known as the Semper Fi Chef.
Outside of work and service, Jason enjoys playing guitar and spending time outdoors. He brings his discipline, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit to every role he takes on, continuing his dedication to service, community, and camaraderie.
