MCL Central Division Conference
Central Division Conference is being held in Joliet, IL brining together Marine Corps League and Auxiliary members from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Wisconsin to share important education and business topics affecting the League and Auxiliary throughout or region.
The conference is two days consisting of classes addressing Recruitment and Retention, Fundraising, Community Engagement, administrative duties and workshops on other matters of concern to the League and Auxiliary on Friday. Saturday begins with a Memorial Service for our Fallen and Business meetings concerning the Division including elections and appointments of Division officers.
Friday evening, the Military Order of the Devil Dogs, an honorary society within the Marine Corps League will dinner and then gather for a growl (meeting) to discuss the business of the Order and participate in games and activities raising awareness and supporting local the Children’s Hospital Fund, Operation Chow Hound (serving no-kill shelters) and other matters of the Order.
On Saturday evening there will be a social hour and a banquet dinner with guest speaker Col. Aaron Lloyd, Commanding Officer, 9th Marine Corps District.
