SUMMARY:Marksmanship Team Shooting Event
DESCRIPTION:The McHenry County Marine Corps League Marksmanship Unit meets every first Tuesday and second Thursday of every month\, at Northshore Sports in Crystal Lake.  We are safe\, we shoot a course of fire that is enjoyable while becoming proficient in the use of firearms. We meet at 5:30 pm and weapons hot at 6 pm.  Cost is $20 for the course of fire.  We usually burn up about 100 rounds of ammunition.

SUMMARY:Women's Introduction to Shooting Class
DESCRIPTION:An Introduction to Firearms Class by Women for Women\, the Instructor being a certified female trainer.  Class is limited to spouses or children of members of the McHenry County Detachment\, at least age 21\, and preferably for Women who had never utilized a firearm in the past.  There is a class room instruction period and practical application at the range.  This is a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with a firearm and get trained in a safe environment.  Cost is $25 per female attendee and the firearms are limited to 22  to 380 caliber pistol.  Free pistol rental.  Attendees are asked to purchase ammunition at the range.  If you are bringing your own firearm\, you will need 100 rounds. \n
